Reviewer's Profile

Kenneth Moore

I became hooked on anime during the mid-eighties watching Robotech before college classes. My first anime purchase was Iria which remains one of my favorite anime along with Ghost in the Shell and El Hazard. For the last eight years I have been employed by the U.S. Army as a Ecologist. I manage endangered and threatened species found at a large installation in southern Louisiana. Most of my hobbies and interests (birding, reptiles, ecosystem management) are related to my profession. About a year ago I started getting involved in astronomy, which I believe was sparked by watching too much sci-fi anime. I now know that there are billions of stars in the universe, millions probably have planets around them, thousands probably have some type of life on them and that we are probably not the most evolved beings in the universe. Anime has influenced my life; that's kind of scary.
