A new review is up on the Cafe for Mermaid Forest, an older OAV from Rumiko Takahashi. Otherwise, additional reviews have been posted for Galaxy Express 999 and Plastic Little in the Parent's Guide to Anime. Unmentioned in the previous update, the trivia questions sent in for Aa! Megami-sama and Gunsmith Cats were submitted by Justin Hokamura. Thanks Justin and apologies for the delayed credit!

Several new trivia questions have been added to the Trivia section for Ah Megamisama and Gunsmith Cats. Also, new reviews for the Parent's Guide have been posted for Thunderbirds 2086 and Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie so check them out!

One new review is now up for Rurouni Kenshin OAV episode 1. Lots of stuff is still in the works, but someone decided to go for a golf trip for the Victoria Day long weekend. Hopefully the rest of the Canucks out there will have gotten their gardens planted over the long weekend.

Congratulations goes to Matthew Last of McLean, VA who won the last Animé Café Giveaway Contest!

Mail has been piling up again in the mailbox but I hope to get to your questions. For those people who sent in questions, reviews etc., around Mar 20 and haven't received a reply, I might have lost it in the mess around my computer. (I'm in constant risk of being buried alive by various manga when at my computer...) Needless to say, it would be strongly recommended that e-mails be re-sent if possible....

Reviews for Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo Bourei Gakko Satsujin Jiken Files 1-3 are now up on the Cafe site. Mystery buffs who find Conan a little too easy might want to take a look at this series! Because of the nature of Kindaichi stories, I'm debating breaking with the traditional episodic reviews and going more with story reviews as each story tends to be about 4 episodes in length. Let me know what you think! Otherwise, work is on-going with a couple more Conan episodes as well as starting on some of Kami Kaze Kaitoh Jeanne from season two. Someone accidentally recorded over season one. @_@

A new review and some trivia questions have now been posted for Meitantei Conan.

Results from the poll in the last contest are now in so take a look at the feedback section! Top 10's (roughly) have been listed for the various categories.

Also, for this month's editorial, the Cafe had the honour of interviewing Taro Rin, the director of X: The Movie by CLAMP! Our most sincere thanks go to Taro Rin for agreeing to the interview as well as to Rama Duneyavich at Palm Pictures for giving us this wonderful opportunity. Special thanks also go to Jonathan Harmon for helping conduct the interview!

A new review has been posted in the Parent's Guide for Saber Marionette J courtesy of Daniel Enss.

The response to the last Cafe contest is most promising and I hope to have the results to the poll up soon. It'll be interesting to see what the top voted series will end up being. A review for Kaitoh Saint Tail has now been posted in the Parent's Guide by Dana Marie MacSween and Gabriel Chan. Hopefully, more reviews will soon be posted in the Parent's section from the backlog of e-mails that I've been going through so be sure to check back during the next week or so. And for what it's worth, I did miss the new Conan movie in Japan. *sniff*
