[ capsule review ]

This is the very first of the Meitantei Conan movies. While the TV series has been ongoing for some time now, that doesn't mean that one needs to be familiar with the series in order to enjoy the movies however. While quite detailed and very fast, there is a quick overview of the main concepts behind the series which is reviewed at the beginning of the movie which brings the uninitiated up-to-date.
