Dragoon

A Parent's Guide to Anime
Rated: M

Recommended for Mature Audiences

Reviewed by Ruby Arbogast:

Sadie Caliver stumbles upon an unconscious naked woman in the forest while practicing his sword skills. Her name is Miu, she has lost her memory, and there are alot of soldiers after her. So Sadie decides to help her recover her lost memory and protect her along the way.

I liked this anime, the story line was lacking in one or two places, but it kept me hooked right up until the very end. There is alot of mature content in this video, but nothing that made me reel around in disbelief, and believe me I've done that before.

**Also: This storyline does not follow the one from the Playstation game. It may use a few of the same ideas and a light dusting of the storyline, but I promise you they are two separate entities.

Parent's Guide Rating:

red (recommended for mature audiences)

There are a few things I think should be pointed out. There are many gratuitous breast shots. Meaning un-needed. There are two scenes that insinuate rape, but they never happen, the girl (Miu) is always saved. There aren't really any curse words, the one that I noticed was *ss. I did like this anime, ADV gave it a rating of 17 and up, but you're the parent, you get to decide what your child can handle. If your child wants to see this title, I think you should watch it first.
