Ellcia

A Parent's Guide to Anime
Rated: PG

Parental Guidance Advised

Reviewed by Raven Cross:

Ellcia is a four-part fantasy OAV that follows an old storyline: The Fantasy world has hit despair, and it's time to try to save it. Ellcia isn't bad, it's not wonderful, but it is good. Eira, being the lost princess of Eijia, has to - guess what - save the world.

It's all done without being the same as everything else, however, mainly in the area of "The Ship of God." That's right, a boat. The boat that happens to be named Ellcia.

The plot has flaws, and it has things that make it special - I recommend checking it out if you like fantasy. On another note, the art and animation is different but beautiful if not stunning. Some might think it's ugly, but it has it's own style.

Parent's Guide Rating:

yellow (parental guidance advised)

Warning:
Violence - Some. Nothing you won't seen on Prime Time TV.

Sex/Nudity - None.

Profanity - A fair amount in the dub. There may be less in the sub, but the a-word is used a lot.
