A Parent's Guide to Anime
Rated: PG

Parental Guidance Advised

Reviewed by Steven Anteau:

I am reviewing fansubs of all 13 episodes.

I found this series to be great. It starts very dark with an explanation of a war between men and women. The first 5 minutes make you think you'll see a very dark and violent series. Then comes the comedy.

The series is like this. Many, many years ago men and women had a war and now live on seperate planets. Nowadays they know nothing about each other (sex, appearence, any of that stuff). The women capture a male ship and have to keep some of the crew to pilot it. What follows are many, many hilarious scenes, all sexually driven of course, but still funny. To top it off there's an alien force posing a threat to both genders and the male and females mechs can fuse together!

Very good for a laugh and cool action scenes.

Parent's Guide Rating:

yellow (parental guidance advised)

This was a borderline PG/M, I wish there was a PG-13 rating.

Sex/nudity - Fan service to the max. Many breasts bouncing, many tight pants, and akward camera angles. The only talk of sex is one scene where the females say "I heard they have rods in they're crotch". Other than that, no mention of it. One girl loves a male but they never kiss or anything.

Violence - We see the aliens being killed but all it is is explosions. Also, in the first 5 minutes of the first episode it shows many males dying; a few are a bit graphic but not too bad. And when the females take over the ship they beat a few of the males. Also, there are several guns used in one episode and one character gets beaten up but no one is killed nor is there any bloodshed.

Language - This is a fansub only series as it stands so I am judging the fansub. As it goes there aren't any.

Questionable episodes - One episode deals with a cult and commiting suicide, nothing else.
