Well, perhaps not *all* those are looked at but the results to the latest poll on the Anime Cafe are now in so take a look!

There were a total of 341 unique contest entries for the Cafe Poll. Those who submitted multiple entries to the contest were limited to one entry for the poll itself to try and make the results a little more meaningful. However, error was introduced into the results due to the necessity of trying to decipher spelling errors. Is Matoko Makoto or Motoko?! The average age of the people submitting to the poll was 19.27 with ages ranging from 10 and up. A whopping 56.43% of the folks surveyed say they prefer the sub-titled version compared to 31.03% who prefer dubs; 12.54% of respondants were undecided or had no preference.

Of 341 respondent, 146 (42.82%) responded that they own a DVD player compared to 195 (57.18%) who do not. Approximately 12 respondants had DVD players which were multi-region, or non region 1. (Approximately? The most common question on the form was the question of what "region" meant. Region coding - the area of the world which discs can be played in the player. Those ballots where region was not specified or unknown was assumed to be local to the respondent. Anyhow, on to the rest of the results!
