He was introduced to anime by his kids, Julia (15) and Michael (11), who got hooked on the Cartoon Network broadcast of Gatchaman (known in the U.S. as G-Force). Bryan and his daughter Julia created A Parent's Guide to Anime, which has become an invaluable guide to determining the appropriateness of various anime titles for children.
