MPAA
(Motion Pictures Association of America)



  1. The MPAA ratings group is the governing body in the United States which determines the suggested audience ratings of a film. To date, the following trademarked ratings have been established:

    G (general audiences), all ages admitted.
    PG (parental guidance suggested), some material may not be suitable for children.
    PG-13 (parents strongly cautioned), some material may no tbe appropriate for children under 13.
    R (restricted adult), Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian.
    NC-17 (no one 17 and under admitted)
