synopsis

Saving the city was tough...

...but the first day of school is even worse!

The pressure never lets up on young Shinji Ikari. After saving Tokyo 3 from total destruction only a few hours after arriving in the city, he now finds himself in an even more precarious situation... attending his first day of classes at a new school. Unfortunately, some of his classmates are not so thrilled to have a "hero" among them. However, just as it's looking like Shinji will have to defend himself on an entirely different field of honor, another Angel attacks! Despite his anxieties, Shinji must once again merge with the giant, living machine know as Evangelion to combat the menace from the stars. Will Shinji once again be able to master the genetically engineered titan and defeat the alien invader, or will he succumb to an even darker foe, the demons of his own mind? The animation epic that stunned Japan continues in NEON GENESIS EVANGELION Genesis 0:2!
