A young twelve year old girl is given a magical ribbon that allows her to change into anyone she wishes. Violence in Hime-chan is very minimal. Hime-cahn has problems keeping her temper sometimes and uses her "Hime kick" to get even. There are a few curse words in Hime-chan such as damned and bastard. This is an EXCELLENT series to use when exploring Japanese culture. Children will be able to have a first hand look into the Japanese school system and what traditional Japanese home life is like.
