Patlabor

Mobile Police Force

genre: science-fiction / mecha

[ rated pg ]

adult situations
intense situations
nudity
violence

Parental Guidance Advised - Borderline 'suitable for family viewing'. There are no scenes of nudity, or untoward violence in the two movies. The only item that makes the movies unsuitable for children is the level of script writing -- much of the Patlabor movies deals with political intrigue that would bore most children.

The TV series has several episodes of nudity, but they're very minor, including one episode where there are 'dancing dots' to cover all the offensive material (quite amusing, actually). Typical anime violence as well.
