In TV Episode 1, Ryoko and Tenchi escape the mecha that chased them to the top of a cliff. How, and what movie does the scene parody?
answer:
The mecha is stopped when it trips on a Coke can, and couldn't get up. It's a parody of the Paul Verhoeven's hit movie, RoboCop, in which the ED-209 robot fell down a set of stairs and found itself in the same situation.
