Café TriviaYuugen Kaishya(Phantom Quest Corp.) question:How is the Japanese title a play on words? answer:The Japanese kanji character for the first part of the title (yuu) is actually the spelling for a yuurei, or ghost. The normal spelling and subsequent definition of yuugen kaishya would be the equivalent of our limited liabilty company (the "Ltd." we see so often at the end of a company name.) There might be a further play on words here as well -- a yuurei kaishya is what we would call a front or phantom company -- one that really doesn't exist. [ << prev ] [ top ] [ next >> ]
